As a Content Specialist for the Northwestern School of Professional Studies, I provide editing and quality assurance for online courses as well as feedback on copyright and accessibility. I was excited to join the Distance Learning team in March 2022.
I have worked in higher education since 2012, most recently as a Writing Learning Specialist at the University of Oregon. Prior to joining SPS, I taught and designed courses for undergraduate, graduate, and middle and high school students across a wide range of subjects in the humanities (mythology, archaeology, and creative nonfiction, to name a few!), which inspired my ongoing passion for developing effective, equitable pedagogy.
I received a Graduate Certificate in Writing Pedagogy and an M.A. in Classics (Greek & Latin) from UCLA (2019), an M.Phil. in Classics from the University of Cambridge (2016), and a B.A. in Classics from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor (2015).
Outside of work, I enjoy creative writing, reading, baking, and (as a New Yorker) being bewildered by the phenomenon of deep-dish pizza. I reside in Chicago with my spouse and our cat, Smilodon.
