Healthcare is an expanding and dynamic economic sector. Job forecasting reports consistently point to healthcare as a dominant force in the economy, in terms of both projected growth and percentage share of all jobs. Recent projections from the Bureau of Labor Statistics show that half of the 10 fastest growing job categories are related to healthcare (physical therapist assistants, home health aides).
